There are 2 “tried and true” lavender cultivars available for sale in 4 inch pots !

Super Blue
English Lavender (Angustifolia)
A prolific early bloomer that is shorter stemmed, brilliantly filled with deep blue- purple buds and great for culinary use while drying to perfection
It also produces a second bloom in late Autumn

Phenomenal
French long stemmed lavender (intermedia)
Amazing long stems filled with vibrant strong smelling buds
Great to dry and use for making sachets
Winters well in Oro Medonte!

And if you were at the farm last year and saw all of our giant yellow flowers that most people thought were sun flowers, we have the very prolific “Cup Plant” aka the native plant SILPHIUM PERFOLIATUM
This plant has been growing at the farm for decades and is a valuable habitat and water source for all pollinators!!
