Author Event with Wendy McQuaig

The Severn Township Public Library is delighted to welcome Wendy McQuaig back for an author event. We had her when her book “Beyond the Pickle Jar” was first published and 5,000 copies later, she has agreed to return!

Wendy McQuaig never imagined a jar of pickles tucked into the corner of a fictional farmhouse cellar would carry her quite this far, but this Orillia author quietly crossed a milestone that still feels surreal.

Behind the Pickle Jar, the debut novel she spent six years writing an hour at a time, has now sold more than 5,000 copies, a number that qualifies it, by some industry standards, as a national bestseller in Canada.
