Merry Makers Market

The Merry Makers Market is an annual holiday market held in the beautiful village of Shanty Bay! The market lines O’Brien Street in the heart of the village and there are additional vendors both inside and out at the St. Thomas Church Hall (28 Church Street, Oro Medonte). This event hosts 30+ local food and artisan vendors across a variety of vendor categories! Santa will also be in attendance from 12pm-2pm – photos with Santa are free but a donation to the chosen charity for the year is greatly appreciated! Over the past two years the market has supported both the David Busby Centre, as well as Big Brother Big Sisters of Barrie. This year’s chosen charity is Rainbows for all Children Canada – an non-profit organization supporting children and teens grieve and grow after loss. Come out, shop local, and feel the holiday spirit come alive!
