SUMMARY:Art Lessons – Soft Pastel
DESCRIPTION:Cloud Gallery will host a pastels workshop in downtown Orillia\,\nfeaturing guest instructor Maria Iva\, who brings hundreds of hours of teaching experience\,\nas part of its summer event series. \nThe workshop will focus on pastels through a step-by-step landscape project format\, offering\nan accessible introduction to the medium within a guided studio setting. It is designed for\nbeginners as well as any level of artist looking to expand their skill with colour.\nThis course will introduce students to the fundamentals of soft pastel painting through guided\nlandscapes. Participants will learn how to choose materials\, layer colour confidently\, and\nbuild light-filled compositions using simple techniques. No drawing experience is required\,\njust curiosity and a love of art. \nThe workshop takes place on Saturday\, June 27th\, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Cloud\nGallery\, 23 Mississaga St W\, Orillia\, ON. All materials are provided\, and class sizes are kept\nsmall to allow for individual guidance. The workshop is open to participants aged 16 and up.
