Villager Ventures: Movies in the Park

Orillia Movies in the Park

Summer always seems to be go, go, go and no one feels that more than me! Half the season may have flown by, but there’s still time to squeeze in some fun… or maybe, just slow down a little.

Sometimes, all you want is to kick back and watch a good movie. Sure, the beach is amazing, but let’s be honest: the outings, the heat, and the high-energy pace of summer can leave you feeling drained. Personally, I used to love those summer thunderstorms when you were forced to stay indoors and cozy up with a book or a film. I have been to some backyard outdoor movies hosted by friends and it has been so much fun to have space for kids to move around while watching a movie, without worrying about upsetting movie goers at the indoor theatres.

Well, movie lovers, I’ve got great news. You don’t have to choose between summer fun and chill vibes…you can have both.
